Any new home construction, or proposals to increase the square footage of a structure on a lot by more than 2,500 square feet of impervious surface area (structure additions, hardscapes, and pavements) is required to submit a grading and drainage report. The Village has adopted the Arapahoe County Stormwater Management Manual (PDF) for its drainage plan requirements.
A Phase III drainage report should be submitted with the building permit. No building permit will be issued until the Village has reviewed and approved the grading and drainage report.
A SWMP or GESC will be required for any construction disturbing 1 acre or more of land, or for construction adjacent to a watercourse or wetland.
