Recreational Use

  1. A "Recreational Use" is a detached, subordinate structure located on the same lot as the principal building at that address, the use of which is customary and incidental to the use of the principal building, but is not an Accessory Structure (such as a guest house, a detached garage, or a barn, for example). Examples of Recreational Uses include, but are not limited to: swimming pools, sport courts, outdoor kitchens, and fire pits. If you are not sure if your project is an Accessory Structure or a Recreational Use, call the Community Development Department at 303-783-2721.
