ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Cherry Hills Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will provide the public another opportunity to dispose of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your medications for disposal to the Cherry Hills Police Department at 2460 E. Quincy Ave. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. It is important to remember that the following items are not accepted during these take back events. The items are as follows:
• Needles & Sharps
• Mercury (thermometers)
• Oxygen Containers
• Chemotherapy/Radioactive Substances
• Pressurized Canisters
• Illicit Drugs

Front Range Flu Shots will be holding a flu shot clinic in conjunction with the Prescription Drug Take Back event on Saturday, October 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The flu shot clinic will be at City Hall (located at 2450 East Quincy Avenue). This is a walk-in clinic so there is no need to make an appointment. Front Range Flu Shots accepts the following insurance plans:
• Cigna (Cigna Connect is NOT accepted)
• Humana (HMOx is NOT accepted)
• Medicate Part B (when it is the primary insurance plan)
• Medicare Advantage PPO
• Rocky Mountain Health Plans
