The purpose of the Code Enforcement Division is to promote, protect and improve the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City of Cherry Hills Village through an effective, proactive code enforcement program. The Division is responsible for the enforcement of the various requirements outlined in the Municipal Code, including the identification and enforcement of nuisances within the City (including, but not limited to lighting, noise, garbage, weeds, etc.), enforcement of the use of public rights-of way, vehicle parking compliance and enforcement of the various regulations outlined in the Zoning Ordinance. In addition, the Division is responsible for monitoring construction sites throughout the community to ensure compliance with all related construction standards outlined in the City Code, including hours of construction, site maintenance and construction staging plan compliance.
