Backflow Preventor Theft
In the last few weeks the Cherry Hills Village Police Department has seen an influx of backflow preventer thefts by unknown individuals. The thefts have occurred all times of the day and night. The irrigation backflow preventers are usually made out of copper and prevent dirty water from flowing back into your water system.
It can cost approximately $400 to $2000 to replace a copper backflow preventer.

The Cherry Hills Police Department urges all the residents to call 303-795-4711 or 911 if you see any suspicious person or vehicles around these devices.
