A "Major Addition" is the expansion of a structure by 50% or more of its square footage. Major Additions have the same application requirements as new construction projects. Our Fire Suppression Policy can be found here. If you are unsure if your project is considered to be a Major Addition, call the Community Development Department at 303-783-2721.
To apply for this type of permit, you will need to provide the following items:
A plan review fee of $1360.00 is required for all Major Additions. Payment is accepted via Xpress Bill Pay. Once your payment has been processed, enter your name and the Transaction Number of your payment in the fields below.
