Work to regrade a section of the wetlands in John Meade Park will begin on Monday, April 1st and is expected to take two-three weeks. The gravel lot and the paths leading to the back corner of the wetlands will be closed while this work is completed. The park shelter, bluegrass areas, playground, and both fishing piers will all be open and accessible the entire time. The work is being done to lower the grade at the back corner of the park, since it is currently too far above the water table for wetlands plants to establish there. Please contact Parks Manager Emily Black (eblack@cherryhillsvillage.com) with any questions.
