A scam which claims to have personal information about victims has been reported in affluent communities across the country, including Cherry Hills Village. The scam claims to have “secrets” about the victim and then demands a confidentiality fee to not expose the information.

The Cherry Hills Village Police Department wants citizens to know that if you receive this type of letter, do not pay the ransom and notify the Police Department by calling 303-761-8711.
