Update: Englewood issued the following at noon on August 6th: The drinking water advisory has been lifted. Customers in Zone 1 can once again use tap water for all purposes. Before using the tap water, the City of Englewood advises customers to first throw out ice, flush faucets and flush other appliances to ensure removal of all potentially contaminated water.
A majority of Cherry Hills Village residents are served by Denver Water and are not affected by the boil water order from Englewood. However, a small number of our residents on the west side of the City are served by Englewood and therefore are affected. Please check your water bill (not your sewer bill) to determine for certain if you are served by Denver Water or Englewood. If you are served by Englewood please follow the boil water order (more information at www.englewoodco.gov) and you can call Englewood at 303-762-2365 for more information. Denver Water has released the following advisement: Water deliveries from Denver Water are safe. We are aware of the boil water order from Englewood. If you are a Denver Water customer, your water is not affected by the boil water order.
