Parks & Trails Scavenger Hunt

The Parks, Trails, and Recreation Commission invites the community to their second annual Scavenger Hunt event on May 3^rd, 2025, from 9am-noon. Fun for the whole family, with two scavenger hunt options:

• Park Scavenger Hunt (Youth):
  1. All-ages youth scavenger hunt in John Meade Park from 9am-noon
  2. Self-paced – find natural features within the park! All participants receive a prize.  
  3. Face painters, lawn games, and snacks
• Trail Scavenger Hunt (Teams): May 3rd, 2025 9am-noon          
  1. 9:00am registration opens in John Meade Park; 9:30am start
  2. Explore the nearby bridle trails (about 3 miles total) and look for medallions on fenceposts and bollards!
  3. 11:45am deadline to win prizes - $100 gift cards awarded to 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place
  4. All other finishers before 11:45am will be entered into a drawing for a gift card/gift basket.
  5. All participants receive a tree seedling to plant!
