Master Plan Update Process

The Master Plan Update process is underway.  The City, along with consultants Rick Engineering, will be exploring key issues such as:

  • Multi-modal opportunities
  • Strategies to improve mobility for residents, while reducing cut-through traffic
  • More energy efficient and sustainable policies and standards
  • Policies related to an aging population
  • Exterior lighting
  • Public safety
  • Impact of the High Line Canal on trails, stormwater & drainage
  • Opportunities for city-wide drainage improvements

First Community Survey Results

Second Community Survey

Thank you for participating in the second community survey for the Master Plan Update! This survey has now closed and results of the survey will be posted soon. 

Third and Final Community Survey

The City is in the final stages of updating the Master Plan. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey on the project website: The survey is primarily focused on implementation of the Plan, but there is also an opportunity to review a draft of the document and provide general input.
